Hillroot: A New Beginning of My Dream

After a long time, I have started writing again. In the mean time, Hillroot Sunflower Oil hitted Bangladeshi market. Dermatologists started to prescribe that. I am hoping to make it a global brand. Because, sunflower oil is truly good for the skin. I reveal cells grow by fibonacci series. So do sunflowers. So, sunflower oil is the best skin oil. I truly amazed to learn it. All credits of that go to my father Professor Dr. Md. Shahid Ullah. He actually recommended that oil for skin for the very first time to me and asked me to market that. Then I started market it with a mission to make it a number one brand in cosmetics industry. I personally advertised and asked for investors and distributors and still am looking for those. It is truly a green, sustainable personal care product business starting for my group of companies. I wish it the very best!

Hillroot.com was down due to not finding engineers who can make my dream a reality. Afterwards I met few engineers and visionaries. One of them was E J Ross from North Dakota, USA. He first told me about 3d search engine. He made few of it some how and the project is still on. Now I am looking for good engineers to build hillroot.com.  A joint venture might make that happen. I also made hillroot.com from a single site to a group of companies. Now it has hillroot.com, hillroot-search.com, Hillroot Pay, Hillroot Chemicals, Hillroot Pharmaceuticals, Hillroot Hospital and Medical Centers, Hillroot Garments and Textiles, Hillroot Mobile and Electronics, Hillroot Travel and Tourism, Hillroot Spiritual Retreat Centers and Micheal Automobile. It is truly a new beginning of dream. I plan to name its customers tribe. I also plan to make few special tribes for Hillroot specially Hillroot Government Laboratory High School, Dhaka, Bangladesh Tribe, Hillroot Dhaka College, Dhaka, Bangladesh Tribe, Hillroot Mymensingh Medical College, Mymensingh, Bangladesh Tribe, Hillroot BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh Tribe, Hillroot Ashland University, Ohio, USA Tribe, Hillroot California Preparatory College Tribe, Hillroot Stanford University, USA Tribe, Hillroot Dhaka Regency Hotel, Dhaka, Bangladesh Tribe etc. I approached to family and friends with those ideas of new companies. Lets hope for the best. Last but not least I got married with Dr. Farzana Tania in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 5 October, 2018. Days are passing with sweetness of family life at last. However, I am damn busy with my start up companies and my new dreams too!

When I started my businesses in 2000, none in Bangladesh thinks of a commercial magazine with world class papers, four to five colors. I published one in 2000. Then in 2012 I myself first coined the term shopping club in Bangladesh. Here people heard about discount stores, clubs but an investment club based on shopping is not even present in Asia and in the world there are very few shopping clubs. Such big projects we are planning now will never be in the world in the history of time.

Pre-Startup of My Companies

A good company is built by human capital. It is also built by values and distributive money generation capacity. If values are present, money is not available, still it can be a very good company. Money can be generated soon. Value creation and human capital are most important. It is all about your knowledge, skills, experience etc. those make your human capital. If I consider my companies’ pre-startup phases, there are two essential factors- human capital and value we can boost on. The social-materialistic aspect of business and winning in business are something truly based on one’s dynamism that is the core of growing companies. Now it is time to hand over the decision to people who know me as a business winner. Truly being an owner, founder I have many works to do. I cannot hire friends or people whom I cannot pay big money they deserve, though the commission for them can be so big as seen in case of independent business owners worldwide. The pre-startup is a lonely journey for me and few people assist me time to time. If I count on heads, I have dozens of friends to work with. It should be much big number of employees but not such now.

However, it is time to let people know that we bet on a very rare way of financing ourselves. It is sometimes customer funded. It is a true opportunity of growth. In the end, none but your customers will decide who will win. All other ways of getting capital are also available. You also have to have many winning strategies. As pre-startup we don’t concentrate our power to influence government policy and in the same time we are free from the influence of government policy in some way. As we have a dynamism of business launching whatever niches it might be, we certainly will reach there from pre-startup to startup and then to companies. I sacrificed a lot. All my businesses were messed up in Bangladesh. Sometimes billion USD business plan went into thousands of buck losses due to something I never assume to be happened. The growth of Bangladesh is purely coming from people who are contributing in business as workers or players. No statistics I found where a global startup is seeing light here in Bangladesh.  Anyways, being a poorer startup of our selves is not a wrong staff but an opportunity to grow. We can play even without big money, other favorable factors. Our success will happen as certain. We know that even from Bangladesh. The determination we have is the crucial staff and we will never change that, no matter what. As startup has no static model to follow theoretically, I cannot give you an exact pathway of accomplishment those. But it will happen. We have the highest excellence possible at all steps of businesses. We will make your dream come true as investors, customers, our team members. We might have many competitors. The advantage of being the best and being the big is not the same. The best is the winner. The best even if it is big is also winner. Thus I can claim my companies as winners even having no presence in the market place at all now. As eventually it will happen. We have much flexibility to reach there in near future in any ways, no matter what.

I am an MBBS, MBA. I started my business journey as a fun during my teen ages. Then I started again as a US MBA student in 2011. I was in late twenties then. I did jobs at many US companies in four US states I lived during summer, it might take some time for me to count. I finished that getting the highest paying jobs in New York, USA at the leading merchant bank, USA and at the second richest bank in the world. I was excited to get the responsibilities. Now at thirties I am starting a new mission of starting my own companies.

American Way of Business and My Businesses in Bangladesh

c‘Buy American, Hire American, Get American Vendors and Sell American Products and Services!’ If you ask why? The one word answer is quality. The nationalism in business was seen when Mahatma Gandhi did a protest against British emperor and used everything Indian, made by himself. That nationalism has been used in many countries as an essential part of marketing. But in global trade system you have to understand location advantage, internalization, cost leadership, ownership advantage and some other factors. However, international businesses are more than 60% purely American. That leads to the idea of the industrial benchmark of the USA not only in quality but also in the value of price and everything. I value each nation’s unique business advantages too. Considering all and prioritizing my belief and my companies’ goals, I would like to add two more action plans of US President Donald Trump’s great slogan- ‘Buy American, Hire American’. I want to complete it for my group of companies like that- ‘Buy American, Hire American, Get American Vendors and Sell American Products and Services!’

I want to go back to the USA for businesses and settling there permanently with my own businesses ASAP. For last six months I have been trying to make a kick start of my companies in Bangladesh and also in some other countries. But I could not able to do so. Strategical advantage is with me but I am lack of personal economical superiority now. I hope that it will be solved soon. A business premise is unavailable in Bangladesh till today. I am working for business from my parents’ home in Bangladesh. It is a seven-storied building in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I want to shift. We have not got response for the office yet.  Without suitable location, we cannot do businesses. We have not got call from investors yet, though our call for investing in my companies is running for almost six months. If this goes on, my going back to the USA will be delayed. We have not got any supportive market changes for which people gave us money to launch any products and services. But still we believe in the best. We know that our vision is to be the top to serve people, thrive the future of the civilization. We are in business to make money and take your responsibility as our customers. We don’t get upset if anything goes wrong with that. Rather we are putting more effort by more productivity. It is about the best products, services not about any average products, services. We understand the market in Bangladesh or anywhere in the world. We understand the prices to offer. We understand the investors’ mentality, authorities’ mentality etc.. But as a start-up we just cannot fulfill everything unless we get some support from each and every body. If banks don’t issue loans, politics doesn’t support, we cannot do businesses. We cannot do businesses if theft occurs, sabotage occurs, propaganda occurs. Our marketing core principle lies in the value we have and the benchmark we deliver. In the same time we don’t want to be harmed or victimized. We always have the world’s best intellectual business support networks and the most advanced infrastructure support from the USA. We have something special, unique for you always. Nothing to say wrong about it. Nothing to worry about it. If you don’t have that, place orders to buy from us, invest in my companies, experience our products, services. Let us start businesses. Just don’t let us divert the way of our works. Let us do businesses whether it is success or it is marketing. We heard your voice. The future of civilization will be largely depended on global governance, policies  and following of human morality. It is not a story to tell but a story to make for the love of human kind. The sustainable future of civilization is promise of us that is a must in this world.  Business profits and multiplex multi order complexity will melt in humanity and ensuring bio diversity.
